People often ask us about our name. “Why True Blue Farm?”

Many years ago, Mark’s paternal grandmother was on her deathbed when Mark came to visit her and say his final goodbyes.

Though she was in and out of consciousness, when Mark entered the room, she was able to say, “Oh Markie, he’s true blue.”

Mark has held on to that over the years. He is a man of integrity. As grandma called him, true blue, through and through.

The name seemed fitting for the farm as our motto is this:

“We believe food should be grown with integrity and families should be fed from local farms.”
