“Why True Blue Farm?”

The founder Mark was with his paternal grandmother was on her deathbed when Mark came to visit her and say his final goodbyes.

Though she was in and out of consciousness, when Mark entered the room, she was able to say, “Oh Markie, he’s true blue.”

Mark has held on to that over the years. He is a man of integrity. As grandma called him, true blue, through and through.

The name seemed fitting for the farm as our motto is this:

“We believe food should be grown with integrity and families should be fed from local farms.”

TRUE BLUE FARM

Christa and Greg McMillan merged their farm Gather Farm and chose to keep the name True Blue Farm to honor Marks’s dedication to his grandmother, the business and his customers. We are honored to carry it forward.
